Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has been in the hands of console gamers sincce the titles release in February of 2013.
So if you haven't seen anything on Metal Gear Rising you will be taken into a some what different gameplay experience than what your are used to. Although the same quirky Bosses and dialogue are still in this title. Metal Gear Rising brings a us a new protagonist Raiden. WHo has appeared in the Metal Gear title “ Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.
Although he is not the dame Raiden you remember for some. He is now a totally different character. His body is redefined in cybernetic material, a crazy energy sword and a somewhat dark demeanor his new design really changes into a futuristic samurai. I won't dwell too much into story other than that you are working for a private military company called Maverick. You are on a contract job to transport a dignitary then suddenly things go astray.
Gameplay in Metal Gear Rising is pretty great. With my time I spent most of it slicing and chopping all my enemies to bits. I spent tried my best to use other weapons as least as possible. Although in some situation you will have to use other weapons and skills as the game progresses.
Something new in the PC title that I really do appreciate is the “Zengeki” option mode. Which brings the sword carnage to an all time high. Using Zengeki will allow you to cut, slice, dice, and cut, slice, dice some more until you practically have nothing of your enemy all in 1080p. While this is all dependent on you graphics card. It is a well in dow treat to see a already fun and impressive mechanic turned into something better.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a well worth purchase for anyone who has not played it yet on console. The title comes with all the DLC, and other extras with a lowered price is a great purchase in my mind.
