Moto X Review- Affordable And Powerful

The Moto X is a great piece of hardware and I'm glad I had the opportunity to review it. A big thanks to Verizon for sending me a review unit.

The Moto X: Build and Size
The Moto X has a slim design style and yet has a slight curve to fit the palm of your hand. The 4.7 inch 720p AMOLED display making the screen a nice streaming YouTube Videos and playing games such as Dead On Arrival 2. Comparing the Moto X screen to other devices such as the Google Nexus 5. Lead the Moto X to not flutter to far behind in the screens vibrant colors.

The Moto X: Performance

The Moto X performed considerable while playing many of the android titles available in the Google Play Store. While playing games such as Dead On Arrival 2 game play ran flawlessly at full frames at full details. While benchmarking in the Unreal Engine Epic Citadel the Moto X handle all of the moving rivers and the whole atmsphere at a smooth 58 frames. Making the Moto X a serious contender in the mobile graphics arena.

The Moto X: Software & Features

The Moto X now has an update to android 4.4.2. Although the main feature that stuck out to me was the active notification display. Which is a major feature that will appeal to many looking into the Moto X. The Active Notification's allow you to take a quick glimpse of your notification without unlocking. You can tell if its a new email from you gmail with the gmail icon being displayed or even a new twitter notification with the little birdie appearing.

The Moto X: Final Thoughts

The Moto X has impressed me in a multitude of was making it more than a exceptional phone and well worth the a purchase if you are looking for a new phone. Motorola has also made it to were you can customize your very own Moto X from top to bottom right here for $49.99 with a 2-year contract or $399 by its self.
