Dragons Crown Review

Dragons Crown, what an adventure this title took me through. Dragons Crown exclusive to PS3 & PS Vita is one of the best dungeon crawling RPG titles I have ever played. Gameplay is addicting for character grinding, game art, and level design to keep you busy for a while. You can purchase both versions separately right now at one of your local retailers.
Dragons Crown takes you to a wonderfully created world of Hydeland. Were you will take the role of up to six classes the Dwarf, Fighter, Amazon, Elf, Sorceress, and lastly the Wizard. For review purposes I blew through the story with the Wizard. While I did play with the other five classes it was only to a certain extent were I could get a great feel, for everyone. While I’m always drawn to picking a mage class the Dwarf was also a treat to play as. With his special ability to harden his skin to improve his defense by a tremdous amount.
So I embarked in my adventure as the Wizard. You are taken through a customized tutorial per what class you chose to get you recognize with the basic. After that you dispatch a couple of goblins. After that you head back to town, and go through all you loot you collect each level. Then your are tasked with joining the Adventures Guild. Once there you are asked to prove you worth to the head of the Adventures Guild. You are to meet a fellow Warrior named Roland and to dispatch the Harpy boss with your party. You may have noticed after that quest you have picked up skeletons bones. These bones are your allies, for your party. You are able to resurrect them into their former selfs in the Church. After list quest you may have wondered to seek a shop to by weapons, and armor. Well you are out of luck. The only way of getting new loot is by grinding through different stages.
Once you acquire your new weapons, armor, etc. You won't be able to equip them right away you must have them appraised either right after a stage when you are looking through what you got or in the local shop. The appraisly price can range from being high and low by the a items class. Class ranks S-D, S being the most rare and powerful. Also make sure you have enough cash on hand to repair your current equipment. Because once their broken then the stats will take a drastic hit lowering everything unique about your item.
I found the fighting gameplay of Dragons Crown fascinating, and entrapping. As you level up Fighter your combos become longer, and devastating. While the magic based classes throw a ton of magical blasts, and spells at the monsterous Hell Hounds, Goblins, and corrupt warriors. The special effects with explosions, lighting, and water blast are beautifully done that I get destracted from battle.
For those who are adopting Dragons Crown on PS Vita you will get the full console experience. And I mean everything down to the must simplistic feature. It is amazing how they were able to get the console graphics onto the Vita. This title really shows that the Vita can handle console ports. Lets just hope Borderlands 2 Vita will turn out as this title.
All in all Dragon's Crown thrusts you into a fantastical medieval world packed with labyrinthine dungeons to explore, vile monstrosities to smite, and nearly endless online adventure. Your mission is to dive into the dank underworld, uncovering treasure and strengthening your mettle as you unlock the secret behind the ancient dragon threatening the world.
